Tom Freeman continues to enjoy a noteworthy shooting career. After competing from 1966-76, he resumed in 1998 to the present. During this time he has registered 356,825 targets, the fourth highest lifetime total in Tennessee history.
Over the past ten years alone, he has competed in 12 states. Tom was state ATA senior veteran champion in 2008, and was Tennessee's alternate ATA delegate the same year.
He was on the TSTA all-state team in 2010 and 2014, and was a senior veteran All American in 2011. In 2010 he was Tennessee Senior Veteran Champ in the Doubles, All Around and High Overall. Later that year at the Grand American, he was Senior Veteran Champion in the Kolar Preliminary Handicap with 98, and also won a class trophy in the Clay Target Championship. The same year he won top trophies at the Dixie Grand, and three more top trophies at the Alabama State Shoot.
